Biography
Emily G. Toland is licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa and focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate, family law, guardianship and elder law. Emily regularly presents seminars to both local and national audiences. She received her juris doctorate, with honors, from Marquette University Law School. Prior to law school, Emily spent nearly a decade working in the Wisconsin State Legislature.
Emily enjoys giving back to the community and to the legal profession. She is the Board-Chair of the Austin Area Foundation, a member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce board, and a member of the Austin Rotary Club. Emily also serves as a Mentor for the Mower County CEO Program. Emily is active in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she serves on the Board of Elders and as a member the Personnel and Finance Committee.
In 2024 and 2025, Emily was honored with the distinction of “Best Individual Lawyer” in the Austin Daily Herald’s Best of Mower County Awards. She lives in Austin with her family and two dogs.
